Sound of Freedom Golf Course

The first course designed by George Cobb, this 18-hole championship par-72 course measures 6,642 yards from the tees. The greens feature ultra dwarf hybrid Bermuda grass, making them smooth and fast. Located on the Neuse River, this course is packed with stunning views, a 24-hour driving range, a chipping area, a practice putting green, and a Pro Shop with club and golf cart rentals. We have a certified PGA teaching pro on staff for beginner and advanced lessons. Be sure to ask about our membership rates and punch cards, and don’t forget to sign up for one of our many tournaments.

The Pro Shop is located on the first floor of the clubhouse, and this is where you can rent equipment or schedule a lesson with our PGA pro. We have state-of-the-art, digital PGA handicap management kiosks, male and female locker rooms, restrooms, and shower facilities. We are an ADA compliant course.
