Thanks to our partnership with Craven Community College, the Military Academic Skills Program (MASP) is available.
MASP is a FREE three-week educational program for active duty enlisted personnel, with an overall objective of improving the competencies in the academic skills areas of reading, mathematics, communications, and writing. A service member who successfully completes MASP will return to his or her command better prepared to perform and enhance the military mission. MASP is also available to military family members and civilians as space allows and at a cost of $180 paid to Craven Community College.
Increasing one’s academic skills allows for increased opportunity within the military, such as qualifying for additional Military Occupational Specialties (MOS), Warrant Officer Program and a number of other service connected programs. The MASP program is administered by Craven Community College. A minimum of 10 students is required in order for class to be provided.
