Bartlett Pond

With picnic tables, covered areas, BBQ grills, and a fish pond, you can have fun at Bartlett Pond rain or shine. Tent camping is also available if you’d like to stay the night, and there is a bathroom with running water for your convenience. Reservations are required for tent camping or group functions. Spend a day fishing with friends or family and take a break to picnic at one of the available tables. A bathroom with running water is available at this location for your convenience.  Reservations are required for group functions.

You’ll find picnic tables and BBQ grills surrounding Duck Pond, ready for a relaxing day or a unit/family celebration. Catch some fish from the pond (make sure you’re licensed and have a permit) and camp out under the stars in your tent. Reservations are required for tent camping or group functions.

Spend a day on the water with family or friends, and if a full day on the water doesn’t float everyone’s boat, we have plenty of picnic areas on dry land. Rental spaces are available for your boats and we also offer dry dock storage. Easy access to the Neuse River.

With picnic tables, covered areas, and BBQ grills, you can have fun at Lone Tree Point, rain or shine. Tent camping is also available if you’d like to stay the night. Reservations are required for tent camping or group functions.

 

Oak Grove Campsite

Oak Grove Campground

This campground features two camping areas. Campground #1 has one pavilion, one picnic table, one grill and enough room for 10 campers. This area has a small canoe/kayak launch. Campground #2 has three pavilions, three picnic tables, three grills and enough room for 50 campers. This area also has two small boat docks and a launch. The campgrounds are open beginning the 2nd week of May through 1 Sept. Keys must be picked up and returned at Pelican Point RV Park, MCAS Cherry Point. Camping is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reservations must be made 3 days in advance. Keys must be picked up on Friday and returned on Monday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Reservations are made at 252-466-2762.

We have 35 concrete RV pads with full utility services waiting for you. Situated on the gorgeous Slocum Creek, this park includes a staffed office with a general store, restroom and shower facilities, lounge area, coin-operated laundry, and vending area. Pelican Point RV Park is within striking distance of the Sound of Freedom Golf Course and plenty of local eateries. The park is open year round.

Shady Grove

Shady Grove

Side by side, Shady Grove A & B feature picnic tables, covered areas, and BBQ grills for your next outdoor celebration or day off. Shady Grove A offers a pavilion and ball field. Shady Grove B is nestled behind Shady Grove A closer to the water and features picnic tables and a covered area. Bathroom facilities are located between these two locations. Reservations are required for group functions.
