On Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point will operate under a Winter Storm Condition “Recovery” status. The combination of accumulated snowfall, cold and wind continue to provide life-threatening conditions and render travel treacherous for the foreseeable future. Only designated essential personnel assisting with recovery operations should report for work.
MCCS will be adjusting operating hours for Monday, 2 February as follows:
- Troop Store and MCX gas station will be open 0800 - 1500 on Monday, 2 February.
- Administrative offices for non-essential personnel will be closed.
- CDCs and School Age Care will be closed.
- MCX Main Exchange, Package Store, Food, and Recreation activities will be closed.
- Library and Marine & Family Programs will be closed.
- Devil Dog Gym will continue to operate 24-hour access for Active Duty personnel, and the Marine Dome will remain on standby as a warming center.
- Essential personnel should reach out to their supervisors with any questions and continue to monitor the website, social media, and weather hotline for updates.
