Sponsorship Eases PCS Moves

Making frequent permanent change of station moves can be stressful, whether you are single, moving as a couple, or with a family. 

Regardless of whether you are going overseas, to a special duty assignment, or to a stateside location, connecting early with a sponsor will help you make a smooth move. 

Your sponsor will be a Marine of equal rank with the same family status as you. A sponsor will connect you with program resources at your gaining installation prior to your arrival. A sponsor adds that personal touch while providing you with information about your new duty assignment. 

Sponsorship is mandatory per MCO 1320.11H. Reach out to your Information, Referral and Relocation office to request a sponsor, or ask your unit sponsorship coordinator.
