The USO Coastal NC and MCCS are partnering together to host a gaming tournament at the Public House Grand Opening event on Thursday, Jan. 26. We will have two (2) tournaments running at the same time: a Fortnite tournament for players 13 and older, and a Mario Kart tournament for players younger than 13.

The tournaments will run from 1700-1830. The top three players in the Fortnite tournament will have the chance to win a Schwinn Mountain Bike, Jetson Hover Board, or Tony Hawk Skate Board, sponsored by USO. The top three players in the Mario Kart tournament will have chance to win 60 arcade tokens & a kids pizza, 40 arcade tokens & a kids mac & cheese, or 20 arcade tokens & a kids fries.

Tournament winners will be announced and presented their prizes during the break before headlining band Plush performs.

Units with highest percentage of unit participation in the gaming tournament will receive the following in unit funds:

1st Place: $200
2nd Place: $100
3rd Place: $50

These funds will be transferred into Unit account AFTER the grand opening event.
